Have you ever tried to start or grow a business?
Maybe you don’t know where to start, you’re missing the right connections, or don’t have the upfront capital you think it will take to launch?
And are you still stuck trying to understand what separates the successful from the unsuccessful, or disappointing yourself because you can’t sustain the motivation to make progress?
As a real entrepreneur, I've had my set of failures and self limiting beliefs. But all of these excuses were just holding me back from accomplishing everything I wanted to obtain.
Time management:
One solution for better time management is to prioritize tasks and focus on the most important and time-sensitive ones first. Another solution could be to delegate tasks to, by leveraging a team and other people’s strengths, outsourcing non-core functions. Additionally, using tools and technologies such as calendars, task lists, and project management software can help to keep track of tasks and deadlines. Don’t become paralyzed with all there is to do or try to do everything yourself.
Financing and funding:
There are several options for entrepreneurs to consider when raising capital, such as venture capital, angel investing, crowdfunding, and small business loans. But initially to generate a proof of concept, you don’t usually need as much money as you may first believe. Additionally, networking and building relationships with potential investors can be helpful when this actually becomes a need.
Sales and marketing:
Invest in yourself, your brand, and generate leads. This creates traction and turns into sales. There are tons of ways to advertise, but being genuine and giving people value will win every time. Attracting customers or clients to what you’re doing and solving their problem draws people in and gives them a reason to do business with you. Additionally, building relationships and developing your network will expand your opportunities to make a larger impact.
Feeling frustrated about the time and money you're wasting on trying to invest in yourself, your business, or your idea..?
Of course, you could always learn by trial and error, trying and failing, getting the bruises yourself. But it can be better to avoid pain from time to time and learn vicariously from the missteps of others. There are the books, scope out tips online from gurus, maybe enroll in some type of boot camp course…..
However, that comes with its own set of problems:
As an entrepreneur, your time is probably stretched thin enough as it is. Do you really have weeks, months, YEARS, to devote to becoming a great entrepreneur? Probably not. Worse still, every minute you spend honing your skills is time away from your primary job—running your business.
Growing a business isn't something you can read about and instantly become great at. It takes practice and LOTS of it to really get it down. And by “practice,” I don't just mean sitting down and reading and watching courses. You need to learn, study, get mentored, and THEN go out into the world and see if what you've learned works for you. The process involves a lot of trial and error, and it takes years to really develop a knack for it. Of course, during those years, you're spending lots of time and money while you try to figure out what works and what doesn't—talk about inefficiency.
As early as 21 years old, Keaton Hoskins (AKA The Muscle), knew he never wanted to work for anyone, so he started his life as an entrepreneur. His first years as a young entrepreneur, he had zero cash, zero investors, and zero connections. Starting from scratch, he mastered the ability to start companies from nothing.
By the age of 25, he had successfully started a personal training company, a gym, dental office, plastic surgery clinic, apparel company, and sports training for youth companies. He has since started, owned, and operated 22 companies that range from the health industry to the marketing industry and so much in between.
Keaton learned early on that he never needed money or connections to start and build companies, and as he implemented simple principles in every successful company since that first one AND he has never spent more than $7,500 to start or launch any of them.
He has since built an 8-figure business and has found FINANCIAL SUCCESS IN EVERY BUSINESS HE HAS EVER LAUNCHED.
My family, my freedom, and my country are my focus.
I come from a modest middle to below-middle-class family, constantly being pushed down or told I'd never amount to anything. I was laughed at for chasing big dreams and shot down by the people who knew me best when I would prove them wrong and rise above mediocrity time and time again.
Sound familiar?
Through years of developing a callused mind and a tough skin, I slowly started to elevate myself through financial success and provide my family with the life I desired. Over time this process led me into a role of business mentorship and one-on-one coaching for individuals around the country. My goal is to help business owners and entrepreneurs identify where they are, and help them tap into their true potential to move in the direction of their dreams.
I've helped my coaching clients and members of The Pit achieve success beyond anything they could have imagined. Together we've seen members' incomes skyrocket from $50,000 to $250,000+ in a very short time. We've inspired each other to strengthen our personal and professional relationships to surround ourselves with loyalty and accountability. We've motivated each other to take risks, quit their 9-to-5's and go ALL IN on the pursuit of their true happiness.
Witnessing success like this is what fills my tank and ultimately why I started The Pit - to help more people who are just starting out where I myself have risen from. I believe that if I can help as many people as I can and continue to spread my message through our network, I can do my part in making this country great again!
